A group of four teachers and 13 students from a private school in Jaora town had visited Paradise Valley, located 11 km from Ratlam city, for a picnic, city superintendent of Police Satyendra Ghanghoria said.
Some members of the group started drowning while bathing in the pool beneath a waterfall at the spot, he said.
