Army official suffers gunshot injury near LoC in J-K’s Poonch district

A junior commissioned officer suffered a gunshot injury near the Line in Control in Poonch district on Wednesday morning. The army claimed the officer was injured in shooting practice in Gulpur area, but sources claimed he was injured in sniper fire from across the border.

A junior commissioned officer suffered a gunshot injury near the Line in Control in Poonch district on Wednesday morning.

The army claimed the officer was injured in shooting practice in Gulpur area, but sources claimed he was injured in sniper fire from across the border.

The injured officer was identified as subedar Dewan Singh.
