Several Indian airlines have decided to waive off cancellation/rescheduling charges in view of the current unrest in Bengaluru over Cauvery water dispute.

Air India said it had waived off penalties on re-issuance, date change, no-show, cancellation and refund charges for travel to and from Bangalore on both domestic and international flights for travel till September 16.
Vistara Airlines has waived off date and flight change fee to and from Bengaluru for travel on September 13 and 14.
Jet Airways has also decided to waive off penalties for date change and flight change on confirmed tickets to and from Bengaluru for September 12 and 13.
A day after being rocked by large-scale violence, Bengaluru appeared to limp back to normalcy on Tuesday with sporadic protests, even as the Karnataka government decided to comply with the Supreme Court’s modified order to release 12,000 cusecs of water Tamil Nadu till September 20.
