Accordingly, Republic TV tied up with P-Marq to conduct exit polls for the Karnataka assembly election. It must, however, be noted that these are just projections, and the actual results may or may not be in line with the exit polls.
The counting of votes for the 224-member Karnataka legislative assembly, meanwhile, will be held on Saturday.

Voting over, all eyes on exit polls
All eyes are on exit polls conducted by news channels in association with polling agencies. A turnout of nearly 66% was registered till 5 pm; voting began at 7 am, and concluded at 6 pm.
