Man thrashes youth for talking to his wife in Haryana

A man, assisted by his friend and others, thrashed a youth on Wednesday for talking to his wife at the bus stand in Ratia town of Fatehabad district.

A passerby shot a video of the incident and posted it on the social media.

The accused also took the youth to the local police station, where the woman in her statement told the cops that she talked to the youth on her own.

Talking to HT, Fatehabad DSP Jagdish Kumar said, “We got a complaint from victim Manda Singh, who claimed that he was having juice with the woman whom he claimed to know for the past many years. Her husband Karamjeet Singh, who happened to pass by them, spotted his wife standing with him. Irked over the matter, Karamjeet and his friend Lovely started thrashing Manda Singh and some other people present there also joined them.”

The DSP added, “Soon we came to know about the matter and took the victim to a nearby hospital, where his condition is stable.”
