    • Repeated adjournments marred Lok Sabha yet again, with the session getting adjourned minutes after resuming. The session was adjourned three times, following which the President's speech was adopted in the House without discussion or Prime Minister's address, in a first in 22 years.

    • In the Rajya Sabha, BJP leader J P Nadda said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was ready to hold a discussion, while accusing the Opposition of not letting the Lok Sabha function. I saw the event too. If it would have happened, the incident would have been very appalling and completely destroyed the democratic tradition of the country.”

    • In his address, PM Modi addressed Rahul Gandhi's ‘traitor’ remark for Ravneet Singh Bittu. “Yesterday, a member of this Parliament was called a traitor…Many people have left congress, the party has been split several times. But he (Rahul) did not term anyone else a traitor…But our honorable MP was called a traitor because he was a Sikh, and this is a display of the enmity against Sikhs present inside the Congress,” he said.
