Parliament budget session LIVE: 'No regard for traditions under Rahul Gandhi's leadership,' says BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad

Parliament budget session LIVE: BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad also spoke on the opposition parties' no confidence motion against Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and said, “There are no rules, no propriety, and no standards being followed. You have brought a no-confidence motion against Om Birla, which rarely happens. The Speaker, showing complete dignity, even accepted a flawed proposal. There was no legal requirement for it, yet he is not presiding over the House today."

"In simple terms, under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, there is no concern for the dignity of Parliament, no regard for the traditions of the House, and no respect for the office of the Speaker. They talk about the Constitution, but are they making a mockery of the country? They are already making a mockery of their own party. Their party is declining. I would also say to opposition leaders that they should stop following Rahul Gandhi and instead try to build their own space,” he added, as per ANI.

This is not a routine situation - it is a matter of India's energy security and the safety of our citizens abroad,” he wrote on X.
