  Tikait says agitation was ‘fine’, will make programme for ‘further strategy’

  Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait said on Monday that the 'Rail Roko' agitation was “fine”. “We will make a program for our further strategy,” he told news agency ANI. Tikait added that Union MoS will “influence the investigation” of the Lakhimpur violence case as the same is against him, thus the government of India “should take his resignation.” “If he is proven innocent then they can make him a minister again,” he was quoted as saying by ANI.

  Agitation has been ‘successful’, says farmer union chief Dhawale
