India’s gross domestic product grew at 8.4% in the quarter ended September, according to data released by the National Statistical Office on November 30. The latest growth figures are higher than the 7.9% and 8.1% projections made by the monetary policy committee of Reserve Bank of India and a Bloomberg forecast of economists.
