Sonia Gandhi is the wife of a former PM who sacrificed his life for the country, the Congress said seeking an apology from Modi for Yatnal's ‘vishkanya’ barb.
https://www.hindustantimes.com/topic/sonia-gandhiThe Congress on Thursday blamed PM Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah and Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai after Karnataka BJP MLA Yatnal called Sonia Gandhi 'vishkanya', a day after Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge called Modi a venomous snake and then clarified that BJP was his target, not any individual.
As the barbs fly thick and fast with a few days remaining for the crucial Assembly election in Karnataka, the Congress reacted sharply to the 'vishkanya' jibe as said Sonia Gandhi is the wife of the former prime minister who sacrificed his life for the country.
