UP tourism gives a short lesson on how not to use adjectives, nouns on Twitter

The UP tourism Twitter handle gave Twitterverse a mouthful to pronounce on Thursday when it put out a post with heavy-duty English words than didn’t really make sense together.

Be prepared to have your mind blown. Not by the stunning visuals and/or spiritual experiences in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi, but quite literally, in words.

The UP Tourism Twitter handle got a little ambitious with a sales pitch. The result was a largely trolled post that refuses to die down. (uptourism.gov.in)

The UP tourism Twitter handle gave Twitterverse a mouthful to pronounce on Thursday when it put out a post about the “unbeaten sagacious astuteness of Varanasi”.

Nope, we are not making this up. The post has since been deleted from the account, but what goes up on the internet, stays on the internet. So, of course there are a million screenshots floating around for evidence.

This is the perfect example of how not-to-use a dictionary or a thesaurus.

Loyal Twitter users found the post soon enough and began trolling it. For it is “no less than a figurine of rectitude”. Say what now?

The jokes on it were not any kinder.
