Ten people were killed and 30 injured after a bus overturned and fell into a ditch in Jharkhand's Garhwa district early on Monday, television channels reported. The accident took place around 3am, according to NDTV.

The injured were taken to a nearby government hospital for first aid and treatment. The bus was privately owned and travelling from Raipur in Chhattisgarh to Patna in Bihar.
The reports said the driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle.
