Around 856 challans were issued against drivers and the police collected a revenue of R8.5-lakh from these unruly drivers alone.

More than 2,152 motorists were prosecuted across the city by the traffic police on Tuesday, the highest figure in a single day — both in terms of the generated revenue and the maximum number of challans as yet. Sunil Thapliyal
