Police arrested Vismay Shah, the owner of the BMW car after he surrendered, the officer said.

"We have arrested Vismay Shah, on whose name the BMW car was registered. He is a local eye surgeon's son."

We are questioning him and will seek his remand for further custodial interrogation," joint commissioner of police Ajay Tomar said.

While one of the bikers, Shivam Dave, an engineering student, was killed on the spot, his friend Rahul Patel succumbed to his injuries in a private hospital on Wednesday morning, police said.
