Kullu public works department executive engineer Vinod Anand said that as part of beautifying the town, the district administration had also acted against those encroaching on link roads "This was part of beautifying the town," he said.
To improve sanitation, the town's municipal council (MC) has deployed nearly 150 workers. MC chairman Rishabh Kaliya added that they weregoing to construct two toilets costing `50 lakh for the people's convenience.
"With the district administration's help, MC will also install mobile toilets, which would help us maintain sanitation in the town," he said.
