Bank’s zonal manager R C Khurana said that on the eve of sports week for Indore Zone employees, the bank is organising table tennis, carom, chess and athletics events.

The indoor games will be held at BSNL recreation hall and athletics will be held at Mallharashram grounds on February 16. Zonal manager R C Khurana will inaugurate the sports week on February 11 at 9.30 am. Assistant general manager B M Bhadarkar and chief manager J K Bhargav will preside over the function.

On February 18, good will cricket match will be played between officer’s XI and Employees XI at Christian College grounds at 9 am.

MPSEB inter-office cricket tournament
MPSEB INTER-OFFICE cricket tournament for V W V Oak memorial trophy organised by office of the chief engineer MPSEB (Indore) will begin from the second week of February.

Sports committee president and chief engineer R K Pal and secretary P D Tripathi said that matches will be played on knock out basis and it would be 35- 35 overs matches. The semifinal and final matches will be played for 40-40 overs. They further said that the tournament is open for government and semi-government department. Interested teams may contact Subhash Satalkar, Milind Kathre or Pramod Jagtap.

Indore Bar Association cricket players are taking part in the tournament and 32 teams have confirmed their participation in the double wicket tournament.

The MP team will be selected to take part in the All India Advocate double wicket tournament to be held in the month of November-December.
