Being a Beatle's wife is tough: Yoko Ono

The widow of ex-Beatle John Lennon is all sympathy for Paul McCartney's estranged wife, Heather Mills.

The widow of ‘Beatles’ singer John Lennon has offered her support to Sir Paul’s estranged wife Heather Mills, insisting that being a Beatles wife isn’t easy.

"I feel very bad for her. I know better than anyone what it's like being a Beatle wife; nobody gives you an easy time”, the Mirror quoted her, as saying.

It seems Ono has forgotten her bitter battle with Macca over the Beatles’ legacy, which she has been fighting for over three decades now, as she also, spoke out in support of McCartney.

"The thing I keep remembering is how, just before Heather gave birth to her and Paul's daughter, he told me how happy he was. He actually said: "I feel like I've been given a second life'” she added.

"They were really in love and it's very sad it hasn't worked out."
