Unfortunately, it turned out to be the last day of his life. Jadhav met with an accident on Ghodbunder Road near Majiwada circle when he was riding on his bike to the showroom at Kapurbawdi at 11 am.

“The traffic police said he lost balance of his bike and fell. He came under the wheels of a dumper truck. The driver has been arrested,” said Senior Police Inspector Prakash Gavane. The driver Sadiq Sheikh (23), a resident of Wagle Estate, was charged with causing death by negligence and rash driving.

Jadhav’s body was taken to the Thane Civil Hospital.

“He was working at the Thane branch for two years as a retail manager and was transferred to the Mumbai branch. He was to join on Wednesday, but he said he would complete the training at the Thane branch and join from Thursday. That decision cost him his life,” said a colleague.
