He said the UPA's governance was "misrule" and it was CAG that exposed the scams of the government. Singh said the people of the country want reaction of Congress president Sonia Gandhi to the book "Accidental Prime Minister" written by the media adviser of prime minister Manmohan Singh. The BJP president said the trust of the common people on the politicians is declining because the Congress has always cheated people.

Singh said India have no dearth of natural resources but the Congress deliberately did not explore these possibilities because the Congress wanted people to live with poverty and unemployment so that it could continue with its rule.

He said the Congress ruled for 55 years of the 67 years since independence but the country still needs the Food Security Bill, which indicates that the Congress did nothing for the weaker sections of society.

Addressing a mammoth gathering, Singh said politics should not be done on false promises, which Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh did for the past 10 years.

Singh asserted that a prime minister must not possess merely legal and constitutional authority, but also moral authority to be the prime minister.

Maharani Diya Kumari, MLA in Rajasthan assembly who is daughter of Rajmata Padmini Devi, appealed people to vote in favour of the BJP. She said only BJP could provide good governance in the country. She added that she joined the BJP because it was the only party, which could provide good governance. National president of minority cell of BJP, Abdul Rashid Ansari also spoke on the occasion.
