Talking to mediapersons here on Friday, State BJP secretary Vibhuti Narayan Singh said that the process of finalising names of candidates was underway.
Singh said, 11 teams comprising three leaders each have been set up at the State level to finalise the name of candidates for the Assembly election.
“The party would declare its future course of action in Lucknow on September 15,” he said.
“The BJP has launched a state-wide ‘Jan Chetna Abhiyan’ in which around 16,000 public rallies are being organised throughout the State,” he said.
Terrorism, communalism and setting up of a grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya will be the key issues of the party in the Assembly election.
BJP state secretary accused the Congress for disrespecting National Song ‘Vande Mataram’ alleging even the Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh kept themselves away from reciting ‘Vande Mataram’ on the centenary celebrations of National Song on Thursday,” he added.
