“Abhishek Chandan was unable to give concrete statements as he is still in a state of shock,” GRP superintendent of police Renu Shukla said.

During the short spells when he was conscious, Abhishek spoke incoherently about some strangers asking him for road directions, while he was on way to a temple. The boy also claimed that someone had forced an injection on him, after which he fell unconscious.

The police however found his statements haphazard and could not link them to form a chain of conclusive events. They said they would try to get more concrete and useful information from him once he is physically fit and mentally free from the grips of shock.

The parents and relatives of this standard XII student of Don Bosco Academy of Patna, after having arrived in Bhopal were now by his side, awaiting his recovery.
