A brisk shower in and around Chandigarh on Wednesday plummetted the temperature bringing considerable relief to the people from hot and humid conditions.
The rain waters inundated the low lying areas and few round abouts in the city.

Reports of rain have been received from Sonepat,Karnal and Patiala.
The heavy down pour lasted for about an hour and forced commuters to take shelters.
