The issue had already been passed by the state Vidhan Sabha during its last session before the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections, he said.
The INLD president Chautala was talking to the repoters at the residence of INLD candidate for Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat, Harmohan Dhawan. He also addressed a meeting of the Muslim community.
Ruling out the possibility of shifting INLD candidate for Lok Sabha elections from Bhiwani Ajay Singh Chautala to Sonepat, the Chief Minister said the party did not have such a practice of shifting its candidates.
There were speculation that Chautala might shift Singh to Sonepat Lok Sabha constituency to contest the election.
Asked that whether he and SAD chief Parkash Singh Badal would jointly address any public meeting in Chandigarh to seek vote for INLD candidate Dhawan, Chautala said he was in touch with Badal in this regard.
