The court granted Tanashah, who has been in the custody of the Mumbai crime branch, bail of Rs 1,50,000.

Tanashah was arrested by the CBI in Delhi in September 1999 and had recovered several arms from him. Both Delhi and Mumbai police want him in several extortion and murder cases.

He was brought to Mumbai three years back and has since then lodged at the Arthur Road prison along with other key member of the Chota Rajan gang, Vicky Malhotra.

Advocate Jayesh Vithlani, appearing for Tanashah, said that the bail application was filed since the crime branch has completed investigations in all the cases that have been filed against him.
