Class XII exam begins on March 1, X on March 2

ALL PREPARATIONS for the higher secondary and high school examination-2006 have been completed. Higher secondary (Class XII) examination will commence on March 1 while the high school examination will get underway the next day. A spokesperson for MP Board for Secondary Education said several new initiatives have been introduced this year to enhance the credibility of examination.

ALL PREPARATIONS for the higher secondary and high school examination-2006 have been completed. Higher secondary (Class XII) examination will commence on March 1 while the high school examination will get underway the next day.
A spokesperson for MP Board for Secondary Education said several new initiatives have been introduced this year to enhance the credibility of examination.

About 10.75 lakh students are appearing in the twin examination. The higher secondary examination spread over a span of one month will have papers on 11 days only. Similarly, high school examination spread over a span of 28 days will have papers on 9 working days.

Guidelines laid down by the MP High Court to curb copying will be strictly adhered to and examination centres have also been decided in accordance with High Court's directives, the spokesperson said.

Papers of both the high school and higher secondary classes will take place in one shift between 10.00 am to 1.00 pm. There is at least one day's gap in the papers of higher secondary and high school.

Admit cards of all the students have been prepared by computers. They also carry photograph of respective students, other details about the student and date of different papers.

Information about examination centres of students has been provided on MP Board of Secondary Education's website and time table of the examination can also be visited on http://www.mpbse.nic.in.
