The Delhi High Court on Friday ordered the MCD to close down all banquet halls functioning in the Capital's residential areas.
"Running of banquet halls are a perennial source of nuisance for residents," a division bench of Justice Vijender Jain and Justice Rekha Sharma ruled.

"The operation of such halls cause traffic congestion in the city, and they should go forthwith," the bench added.
