"However, we expect JMM president Shibu Soren to be with the secular combination and we will take care of his contribution," the senior Congress leader said.
He said Soren had been given the chance twice earlier and this time the "Congress combination" should be allowed to form the new government.
The Congress had supported from outside the Soren government after a fractured verdict was in 2005.
But his ministry lasted only nine days. Congress again gave outside support to Soren from August 27, 2008 to January 12, 2009 when Soren had to step down following his defeat in a bypoll.
