Court to decide on Rahul's bail plea

The bail plea of Sahil Zarru will also come up for hearing in special court.

A special court in New Delhi is to deliver on Wednesday its verdict on a bail application by Rahul Mahajan.

Special judge Swarnakanta Mehra had on Tuesday reserved her orders at the conclusion of arguments by counsel for the accused and the prosecution.

Her judgement is expected at 11.30 am.

Mehra had also asked Delhi Police to present supportive evidence on the charges levelled against Rahul, who was arrested after being admitted to a hospital in New Delhi following a drink-and-drugs party on June 1.

Sahil Zarru, who is charged with supplying drugs to Rahul, has also moved a bail application. His bail plea is also to come up for hearing in the special court on Wednesday.
