Kameswar Yadav was returning home last night after participating in the state-wide bandh by the party when the assailants pumped two bullets in him killing him on the spot.

Party activists blocked the road on Sunday to protest the killing and demanded the arrest of the culprits.

The party had on Saturday observed the bandh to demand roll back of prices of petrol, diesel and cooking gas.
