Cruise boat launched in Upper Lake by CM

The cruise went on trial trip soon after the launching ceremony. Trial trips will continue for the next three days after which commercial bookings will start, said MPSTDC ’s regional manager T L Sonwane.

The cruise has two decks. The lower deck will have air-conditioned bar and restaurant while the upper deck will be open air where an orchestra will also perform.

Tourists will be taken on cruise ride between 4.00 pm and 8.00 pm in winter and 4.30 pm and 8.30 pm in summer. Individual parties can also be hosted on the cruise other than timings of its regular outings.

The cruise was decorated with flowers and its staff were sporting special dresses for the launching ceremony.
Minister for Urban Administration Jayant Malaiya was also present at the launching ceremony among other distinguished guests.
