Delimitation panel report on northern states by '07

The Commission has taken up delimitation of constituencies in 14 states.

Chief Election Commissioner N Gopalswami said in Surat on Friday the Delimitation Commission will prepare a final report for northern states by March 2007 where scheduled general elections would be held.

The Commission has taken up delimitation of constituencies in 14 states and among them in the eight states like Kerala, West Bengal, Tripura, Pondichery, Mizoram, Rajasthan and Punjab and Goa has completed.
