Dhananjoy be thrown to tiger's cage: Hangman
Hangman Nata Mullick, who was to execute rape and murder convict Dhananjoy Chatterjee, on Saturday expressed his hatred for the man.
Hangman Nata Mullick, who was to execute rape and murder convict Dhananjoy Chatterjee, but could not perform the job due to a temporary last-minute Presidential reprieve, on Saturday expressed his hatred for the man who, he felt, should be thrown to a tiger's cage to die.
"This man (Dhananjoy) should be thrown to a tiger's cage as the right kind of punishment," Mullick, who was assigned to hang the convict, said at an open debate 'To hang or not to hang', here.
Saying that he would not relent in finishing culprits like Dhananjoy Chatterjee, the only hangman in the state observed, "After my death, my son will do my job and we will not spare a man who has no love in his mind which itself is a crime".
Nata Mullick denied allegations that he was at this job of a hanagman 'only for money', claiming "I don't depend on money I earn from this job of a hangman".
