"We plan to set up the Metro Corporation. The government also has a plan to extend Metro upto Manesar," Hooda told reporters.

He said Faridabad and Ballabhgarh would be connected to Delhi through Metro rail and the state government has got clearance for the same, he said.

While appreciating the Metro connectivity of Gurgaon upto Qutab Minar in Delhi, Hooda hoped that in next one month it would be linked to Central Secretariat, Delhi.

He said the state government has already signed an agreement with consortium of DLF and IL&FS for extending Metro services in Gurgaon.

Hooda said that for meeting the growing water needs of Delhi and NCR areas, the Ganges river water should also be used.

He also said Haryana was committed to having its share of river water from Punjab.

He said Punjab government has no issue and that is why it is raking up the issue of royalty on water.

"How can you stop (the water). Can Himachal stop (the water). Can I stop vehicles from going to Punjab", he said while referring to the demand by Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.
