Father arrested for allegedly raping daughter
A person was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly raping his daughter in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, police officials said.

A person was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly raping his daughter in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, police officials said.
Romila Devi, mother of the 14-year-old girl, filed a complaint with the police that her husband Jaswant Singh had raped her daughter when she was not at home in Kotli village in the district on Tuesday, they said.
A case has been registered under relevant section of Ranbir Penal Code, they said, adding the girl has been sent for medical examination to a hospital.
A man hunt has been launched by the police to arrest the father.
