The injured comprised two shop workers and two customers, the sources said.

In a separate incident, one person was shot dead by unidentified gunmen when he was taking tea in a tea stall along with two of his friends.

The victim was identified as a vegetable seller.

Police later recovered two empty cases and one misfired bullet, the sources added.
