The Rajasthan High Court has now issued show cause notices to the concerned authorities in the land allotment case.

Akhilesh Rajpurohit, counsel for the Revashankar Dave told the Hindustan Times that Dave had participated in the India's freedom movement and faced many atrocities under the British rule. Dave had moved an application on 30 June, 1973 under the Rajasthan Political Sufferer Rules, 1959 to the District Collector, Pali. Ingloriously, Dave faced the darkest face of red tapism of Indian bureaucracy for more then three decades but failed to get the allotment of land under the Rules of 1959.

"In this writ petition, we have challenged a letter issued by the Deputy Secretary of General Administration Group-6 dated 26 Dec, 2006 where in it was stated that since all the freedom fighters have crossed the age of 75 so it appear hard to do profession like agriculture so land allotment is not justified" Aklilesh said.
