It allows users to customize their reading pattern, save articles for future reference and share content over email and social networking platforms. Readers can comment on articles.

"We believe HT readers are smart and usually ahead of the curve. With this in mind, we have put together all our content in the most sophisticated manner on an iPad app. Unlike other products on the device which carry a set pattern as a replica of the website, this app has been designed keeping a dynamic design approach in mind- which would customize the presentation based on the news event," said Sanjoy Narayan, editor-in-chief, Hindustan Times.
