IAF employee struck dead by lightning in Thiruvananthapuram
A 45-year-old man, working at the Indian Air Force base in Thiruvananthapuram, was struck dead by lightning, police said today.

A 45-year-old man, working at the Indian Air Force base in Thiruvananthapuram, was struck dead by lightning, police said on Thursday.
The victim was identified as Pramod Thapa, a junior Warrant Officer attached to the IAF's Forward Base Supply Unit here, police said.
Thapa, who hailed from Assam, was taking a stroll at the Shanghumugham beach last evening when lightning struck him.
