The Jammu and Kashmir Bank has forwarded a list of three candidates to the Reserve Bank of India for the appointment of chairmanship of the bank after resignation by Haseeb Drabu. Drabu resigned on Friday after being asked by the state government to do so. Drabu, whose term was till 2011, was appointed in 2005 by the People's Democratic Party government. As per the reports, the bank forwarded a panel of three candidates for the post of chairman and chief executive of the bank after a meeting by its Board of directors. The panel includes former Executive Director of the Bank, Mushtaq Ahmad, Excise Commissioner GA Peer and Commissioner Secretary Higher Education Tanvir Jehan.
