Two-time Oscar winning actress Jodie Foster had to face the ire of Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) guards, when she did not stop talking on her mobile phone despite being told to switch it off recently.

The incident reportedly occurred last weekend when The Silence of the Lambs star got stuck on the immigration line at the Los Angeles International Airport while returning from vacation in Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI), a British overseas territory consisting of two groups of tropical islands in the West Indies.

"She started talking on her phone and was told to put it away, which she did, but then she got right back on it when the guard left," the New York Post quoted a witness as saying.

"The guard came back and literally screamed at her and threatened to take her out of line - and then stayed by her side the entire way through immigration to make sure she didn't do it again," the witness added.

Foster’s representatives were unavailable for comment on the report.
