Haryana IAS officer Ashok Khemka on Thursday said that any one having any objection to his recent order cancelling the land deal of Robert Vadra and realter giant DLF, could move high court as per law.
Khemka who met chief secretary PK Chaudhery on the issue of his frequent transfers, the last being after his order mentioned above, however, held that though he was satisfied with the meeting, he would not speak on the details of the meeting as the same was "privileged information."
Khemka, however, said that Chaudhery had told him that his transfers were in the interest of administration.
To the question on the letter written by TC Gupta, director, town and country planning department, to Chaudhery terming Khemka's order as incorrect, he said that the same was "red herring" to divert the real issues.
Even though the affected parties - Vadra and DLF - had not objected to his order, the aggrieved parties could move the high court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India if they had any objection.
"The real issue is that the money in land deals should go to government, meaning people, and not to anyone else," he said and added that he had raised issues which were in the interests of the nation and should thus not be diverted and instead the government should exert to find out solution to such issues.
