Coming out victorious against her battle with breast cancer has made Aussie singer Kylie Minogue rethink her priorities in life, and she is now planning to get involved in the world of medicine.

According to a source close to the star, the singer is extremely grateful to the medical staff that helped her beat the disease, and she is now eager to help others in turn.

"Kylie's overwhelmed by the kindness and expertise of those who cared for her. She has even spoken about getting more involved with the medical world in some way - she has become rather fascinated by it after seeing how it works close up," The Sun quoted the source, as saying.

"Cancer made her confront her mortality and she realised she wants more depth to her life. She wants to do something to help others and is keen to do lots of charity work," the source added.
