A local court on Tuesday ordered an FIR be registered against two prison officials for admitting a BSP leader, arrested in connection with a murder case, in a hospital outside the jail.

Chief judicial magistrate Rajesh Upadhyay also summoned the superintendent and doctor of the jail on July 10, calling for an explanation.
It has also directed chief medical officer Lucknow to constitute a panel to examine Intizar Abdi alias Bobby and give its report within the next few days.
Bobby is charged with the killing of one Saifi in the state capital and also accused of arsoning at Congress state president Rita Bahuguna Joshi's residence.
