According to police sources, Indrajit Das and Bijoy Mahato were nabbed from the official ticket outlet at Phoolbagan in northeast Kolkata following complains that they were hawking tickets at a premium.
They were selling tickets of Rs 1,500 denomination at Rs 1,720.
Match promoter Celebrity Management Group (CMG), however, denied any role in the matter.
"We have given total responsibility for ticket distribution to Big Tree Entertainment. Moreover, complaints have been received from only this counter out of 20 counters of the city," said Bhaswar Goswami, executive director, CMG.
