Miss Kerala International in Singapore

A Miss Kerala International pageant will be held in Singapore this year in which 21 girls of Malayali origin will compete for the crown.

A Miss Kerala International pageant will be held in Singapore this year in which 21 girls of Malayali origin will compete for the crown. Impresario, the organisers of the contest, are launching the Miss Kerala International pageant which would be a hunt for the global ambassador of Kerala, event director Ram Menon said in a press release here today.

The contestants will represent the best of the combination of modern progressive thinking and the custodian of age-old Kerala culture and values, he said. Participants from across the world, including the winner of Miss Kerala, will take part in the pageant.

The Miss Kerala pageant is being held here since 1999. An event of this magnitude is meant to handpick the talents from five crore Malayalis in the country and across the world and providing them with a platform to showcase their talent and culture of Kerala at an international level.
