MNS workers block Mumbai-Goa highway, burn Ajit Pawar effigy

Repercussions of alleged stone pelting on Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Raj Thackeray's vehicle convoy were felt in Ratnaagiri district, after the MNS blocked the Mumbai-Goa highway.

The highway was blocked by for an hour at Khed Bharna Naka under the leadership of MNS district chief Vaibhav Khedekar.

In Chipun, a group of 40 young MNS workers burnt Ajit Pawar's effigy at Shivaji Chowk on Wednesday evening.
