NASA invite for Kalpana?s Karnal girls

Two girl students of Tagore Bal Niketan in Karnal, Haryana, have been selected for a summer camp to be held at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the premier space agency of the US.

Two girl students of Tagore Bal Niketan in Karnal, Haryana, have been selected for a summer camp to be held at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the premier space agency of the US.

Medhani Sarwal and Parul Sarwalia of Class X and XI, respectively, would attend the camp from July 26 to August 7 this year and will acquaint themselves with the working of NASA.

Since 1998, two students are selected every year for the NASA summer camp from Tagore Bal Niketan, the alma mater of Indo-American astronaut Kalpana Chawla, who was born and brought up in Karnal.

Director of the school Vimla Raheja and principal Rajan Lamba congratuated the students on being selected for the camp at NASA.
