Nine members of a marriage party were killed and three others injured when the jeep in which they were travelling collided with a truck here this morning, police said.
The mishap took place on Azamgarh-Varanasi road near Babuapar village in Badah police station area.

Police said the marriage party was returning to Paltu-ki-Sarai village in Gambhirpur after the ceremony when it met with the accident.
The injured have been admitted to the district hospital.
