With the 2010 assembly polls on the horizon, the Chief Minister sought another term in the office for the ruling coalition at a public meeting in Purnia "as a lot remains to be done on all fronts to make Bihar the number one state in the country."

The state has witnessed visible changes over the past four and a half years, be it a network of roads, dissemination of quality education in particular to the girls, improvement in law and order situation and speedy disposal of pending litigations, he said at the rally in Sanjhaghat the district during the 'Vishwas Yatra'.

In a jibe at his arch rival Lalu Prasad and the RJD, Kumar thanked the people of Bihar for getting rid of a 'jungle raj' of 15 years and reposing faith in the NDA to deliver the goods.

The Chief Minister also reviwed the progress of various development activities in the districts.
