Sanjay Parab, a constable earlier attached with anti narcotic cell (ANC), is amongst six policemen booked for their links with Israeli drug peddler, Yaniv Benaim alias Atala.
"We are searching him and have issued non-bailable warrant against him," deputy Superintendent of Police (Crime Branch) Chandrakant Salgaoncar told PTI today.
Five policemen including Police Inspector Ashish Shirodkar, whose nexus with the drug peddler was alleged in a tape, have earlier been arrested in the case.
Atala, who has also been arrested by the crime branch, had claimed in a videotape that Shirodkar was pushing drugs in the market stolen from the court lockers.
The peddler was arrested after local media aired the videotape, shot on a spy camera.
Besides Shirodkar, five more policemen were found involved in the nexus.
Salgaoncar said that they have been on look out for Parab since the time case has been booked, but he has not reported for duty.
